


I wonder if they'll accept a personal check? I don't know the year this check was printed but it came from my hometown bank which is still in existence today, although it's now the National Bank of Oak Harbor. The bank is celebrating its 75th year of service.

When David I were first married ('72), I paid $.69/lb. for ground beef. Believe me, even that much was a lot for us. We were really poor. We couldn't even afford to go to McDonald's and that was when the hamburgers were really cheap!

ReplyDeleteYou can still buy home-pasturizers today, at about $400. Several of my dairy-goat friends had them.
